To see full-sized versions of the images on the web, go the link below, swapping out americanfootball with the id of the image you want to see.

A few fun tidbits I noticed while working on this:

1. If a single calendar event includes keywords for multiple flairs, how does Google determine which flair to use? I haven’t figured all the logic out, but the general pattern is:
-> If part of a keyword string is used for multiple flairs, that keyword string has priority over keyword strings that don’t. So “Clean the house for the Christmas Party” will be
xmasparty because “Christmas Party” has the word “Christmas” (part of a keyword string for xmas) while “Clean the house” does not have any ambiguous words.
-> If the keyword strings have equal priority regarding the above, use the one with more words. So “Yoga on Valentines Day” will use
valentinesday because “Yoga” is 1 word and “Valentines Day” is 2 words.
-> If the keyword strings still have equal priority, use the first one listed, so “Take a Nap after Soccer” will be
sleep because “Nap” comes before “Soccer”

2. There are some other flairs that use the same pattern that can’t be triggered with any keyword strings.
birthday (triggered by the Birthday calendar)
chores (?)
newyear (deprecated in favor of genericnewyear)
skiing, (deprecated in favor of skiing2)
theateropera, (alternate spelling of theatreopera)
violin, (deprecated in favor of violin2)

3. “runs” was removed as a keyword string for running

4. Aside from being case-insensitive, the keyword strings require an exact match. For example, “St Patrick’s” will not trigger saintpatricksday because it uses the wrong apostrophe.

20yo Ryobi Blue Sawzall Repair

So today was the day it finally happened. The 18v blue Ryobi sawzall I bought oh so many years ago has finally let me down. Over twenty years of tough love has taken its toll and the test will now be upon me. Can this saw of mine be repaired? Can I do it? As detailed inside this video, the parts needed and the self-destruction of the failed assembly can be rebuilt. The blue Ryobi sawzall lives again! Moist Spots: an in-depth view

Did someone request a video about flooding? A fact finding mission from topography maps to IRL walk-through before, during, & after the rains. The entire property is a basin that drains from the road towards the creek but the creek has been banked up to prevent flooding towards the road creating a bowl effect in the center of the place. Towards the last quarter of the video It started another downpour that dropped roughly 1.5-2 inches per hour with a tornado spotted a half mile away and the threat of hail and gusting winds. The sky was a strange yellow so some parts of the walk were a bit interesting as the camera tried to adjust the color for "normal" conditions - but - WOW! how this place flooded!!! The entire center of the property drained from the perimeter down towards the center and the focal point of that collection is roughly 400 feet from my front door... I walked the trails to show the aftermath this morning to show just how deep it gets after the higher

18v Ryobi Blue SawZall Mod (Cone of Safety)

Today, with leaves fallen allowing a better view of the size and girth of their parents, I explored the surrounding trees to maintain I was still within a cone of safety. After finding a few instances where trees had doubled in size over the past 6-7 months I decided to remove a few that were choking each other out due to over-competition & top a few of the taller ones that were beginning to overtake my house. It amazes me just how quickly some of these trees grew! Two of the trees I removed that were growing next to my house were baby saplings in May just months past when I began building but by mid-october they were already more than twice as tall as my home and close enough to hurt the structure if they were to fall upon it... Nature is alive and well on this property! In order to cut the trees I weighed purchase of a pole saw but found it would be just as easy, if not more effective, to to simply add to and modify my 25+ year old blue Ryobi 18 volt sawzall. Thi
